Mark your calendars for November 20th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to November 23rd, 2025, at 3:59 p.m. PST, and then again from November 27th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to November 30th, 2025, at 3:59 p.m. PST. That's two whole weekends to try and take down this formidable foe!
But here's where it gets controversial...This Goodra isn't just any Goodra. It boasts a Water Tera Type, turning its usual weaknesses on their head! And to top it all off, it's sporting the prestigious Mightiest Mark, a symbol of its incredible power. During the second half of the Goodra event, specifically from November 27th to November 30th, 2025, keep an eye out for Blissey appearing more frequently in 5-Star Tera Raid Battles. These Blissey will come in a rainbow of Tera Types, adding an extra layer of unpredictability. And this is the part most people miss: defeating these Blissey will shower you with amazing rewards, including valuable Tera Shards and bonus Exp. Candies to level up your Pokémon even faster! Now, how do you actually find these Tera Raid Battles? When you're exploring the Paldea region, keep an eye out for sparkling pillars of light shooting up from Tera Raid crystals. Simply walk up to the crystal and interact with it to start the battle. To ensure you see the event Pokémon, make sure you've downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. Here's a quick refresher:
- Open the X menu and select Poké Portal.
- Choose Mystery Gift.
- Select Check Poké Portal News.
One crucial detail: To challenge the Water-Tera Type Goodra with the Mightiest Mark, you'll need to have either completed the post-game events following the main story or join a 7-star Tera Raid Battle hosted by someone who has. Think of it as a rite of passage! Also, keep in mind that you can only catch this special Goodra once per save file. However, even if you've already caught it, you can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against it to snag those sweet rewards – Exp.
