The carbon fiber chassis, being very stiff and lightly damped, can still transmit vibration to the driver even after the partial fixes.
Honda’s Koji Watanabe, president of Honda Racing Corporation, acknowledged the timeline uncertainty. He stressed the desire to move quickly but cautioned that it’s difficult to predict when a full resolution will come. He indicated that countermeasures will be introduced this week and that the current fix, while promising, isn’t yet guaranteed to perform under all track conditions.
